EC™ Milk Urea (Microlab EFA)

Description:
The measurement of urea in milk has become a routinely-applied technique as it reveals a great deal about what kind of diet the animal has been following, the health of the animal and the milk quality. Monitoring urea levels saves on feed costs, increases milk production, reduces the nitrogen load in the soil and groundwater and improves reproductive efficiency.

Acceptable levels of urea in milk are normally in the range 24-33 mg/100 cc.

EC™ Milk Urea method utilises the differential pH technique and has been chosen as a reference method by the IDF (International Dairy Federation) for its accuracy, repeatability and operative simplicity.

Features:
  • Reference method chosen by the IDF (International Dairy Federation)
  • No sample pre-treatment requirement
  • Repeatability within 1.5mg/dl variation
  • Simple and accurate operation
  • Completely automated
  • Stable reagents
