TRANSIA PLATE Total Aflatoxins is a competitive enzyme immunoassay to detect Total Aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1 and G2) in grain (including wheat, corn/maize and barley), pistachio, peanuts, almonds, dried fruits, rice and cornflakes in only 20 minutes.
Suitable for the 4 ppb Regulatory Level
Aflatoxins are extremely toxic compounds produced by the mold Aspergillus flavus. Most governments have established regulations for the maximum permissible amounts of Total Aflatoxins in different commodities. In the EU, for example, the limit set for Total Aflatoxins is as low as 4 ppb in certain foods. The TRANSIA PLATE Total Aflatoxin method meets this requirement with a sensitivity level of 2 ppb.
